Gardening woes and fungi mounts

Happy to report that we’ve found a new gardener. Turns out he’s our neighbor’s brother. Presumably he saw the state of our yard and kindly left his card in our mailbox. Yesterday he came by to do a proper survey of the situation and agreed to take the case. He’ll be back in 2 weeks or so during which time I expect the weeds to grow taller than our house.

But at least that’s getting sorted.

It’s been an uneventful week so far. I’ve been reading, editing, doing housework. I’ve also been cooking more, and over the weekend succeeded in burning my fingers. Pro tip: Don’t reach into a hot oven with your bare hands and grab on to a metal meat thermometer. Don't do it.

In other news, WoW has announced a new NPC mount that I must absolutely have but it’s going to cost 7,000,000g (5,000,000g for the base mount, 2,000,000g for all NPC additions) which means I have a lot of work to do.

And yes I already have the original AH brutosaur. And yes I also have the AH/mailbox dinosaur mount.
