Adventures in Paris
This weekend K and I took a high speed train to Paris so we could go stand outside the Valentino Paris Fashion Week show and enjoy some celebrity-spotting and people watching.
There were a lot of people.
The event took place at la Bibliotheque Saint-Genviève, a gorgeous historic library administered by the Sorbonne University.

We didn’t get to go inside because our invitation to the event (I'm sure) got lost in the mail, but we hope to go back on another occasion because it looks absolutely beautiful.

Outside, we found a spot in the back, far-removed from the crowds. There was a wooden platform where we managed to stand to get a somewhat okay view of the guests arriving. Too far to take decent photos, unfortunately.
Of the celebrities I knew, the first to arrive was Naomi Watts. Twenty-year old me would’ve been dying inside, but thankfully I’m older and much more composed.
Other celebrities we saw:
- Cynthia Erivo
- Clairo
- Coleman Domingo
Many others that I’ve heard of but don’t really follow or know very well.
The main event for me was the arrival of Thai GL actress Freen Sarocha who showed up in a short-bob wig and made everyone scream when she came to sign autographs.

We had so much fun watching the fans reacting, listening to the commentary of random people coming by to ask what was going on, and generally enjoying the beautiful day.
Back at the train station we sat down for dinner at the Café Marius and I had a very disappointing burger while K had a very disappointing steak.
Overall a 10/10 experience. Will definitely do again.
