In the ongoing battle between dragons and winged unicorns, dragons reign supreme. Okay, there’s no real battle between dragons and winged unicorns—that I’m aware of—but it would appear that about 95% of you would rather ride around town on a dragon. I suppose it makes sense. You show up to school/work on a fire-breathing dragon and suddenly your coolness factor goes up a few notches. No one’s going to mess with the person riding a dragon. Still, I feel bad for the winged unicorns.
It’s Tuesday morning, which means it’s time for a recap of last night’s Rizzoli & Isles twitter action. There was no 5 minute deleted scene this week, but we did get that Q&A session they promised. For thirty minutes or so, @JaneRizzoli and @MauraIsles answered viewers’ most burning questions.
Some of the answers were a little long for Twitter’s 140 character limit, so I screencapped the complete answers for your reading convenience.
Another Tuesday, another 5-minute deleted scene to enjoy. A few people have asked, so I will clarify: As far as I know, the Rizzoli & Isles character twitter accounts are run by TNT. I don’t know who at TNT. Maybe the show’s writers. It is not a fan-run thing and it’s not written by the actresses themselves.
Now that we’re all on the same page, on we go! Last night @JaneRizzoli and @MauraIsles went dress shopping. I like to call this scene: Two Girls, One Dressing Room.
Since half the lesbical Internet is already covering the subtext recaps, I’m gonna share some of the subtext tweets, because these characters are incapable of exchanging words – on-screen or off – without making lesbians everywhere go “!!!!”
And in case anyone forgot what “undercover clothes” they’re talking about:
Yes, that outfit was too … it was so… Where were we?
Harsh, Isles, making her sleep on the floor for giving some other woman her number. You could’ve at least made her sleep on the couch.
I believe that’s called “a date.” And since you’re already extending it from drinks to dinner, might as well make it a sleepover. Hell, just move in together.
I can’t even.
Maura wrote a “tasting note” on Jane. It’s just too … it is so… Anyway.
